INSTALLATION DINNER
Last month members came together to install officers and enjoy a delicious prime rib dinner and silent auction. The tables were decorated beautifully thanks to President Dara Laski. Also assisting to help make the event a successful one was our Secretary, Florine Goodman, Jeanette Capaldi, and Lucie Volotzky, owner of Blissful Sleep.
A special thanks to Florine Goodman for her generous donation of the red and white bottles of wine that were placed on each table to enhance our meal.
Many thanks to Gus Durra at Corona Liquor for their generous donation of the champagne gift package that was added to our silent auction. Corona Liquor is a long time chamber member. They are located at 20042 Vanowen Avenue, Winnetka.
The dinner was prepared by George at the Village Café located at Winnetka Bowl. After our meetings, chamber members meet there for snacks and good conversation.
SPECIAL TRIBUTE!
FLORINE GOODMAN
Because of her dedicated volunteer service for the 5th Annual Inspirational Womens’ Luncheon,
Florine Goodman, our own Winnetka Chamber member, was honored.
Florine was involved with this special event from its inception five years ago.
In addition, Florine tirelessly volunteers for the
United Chambers of Commerce and updates our Winnetka membership with events and meetings that take place in the valley.
As our Chamber secretary, Florine reminds Winnetka Chamber members about our meetings.
The Winnetka Chamber is fortunate to have Florine.

WHY ATTEND CHAMBER MEETINGS?
Most folks prefer to conduct business with people they know and trust.
That’s one of the greatest benefits of joining the Chamber and attending the meetings.
At the meetings, you meet the owners of other businesses but
also have the opportunity to promote your own business.
WINNETKA CHAMBER KEEPS YOU INFORMED!
One of the many benefits of joining the Chamber and attending monthly meetings is the connection with our civic leaders. It’s not unusual for Keith Banks to attend our meetings. He is the representative for our City Council Member, Bob Blumenfield. Keith brings us cutting edge current news about projects that are being addressed by our Councilman.
